Who Am I
My name is Kacey, and I'm 21 years old. I started this business when I was just 19, right after having my little boy Theodore. Becoming a young mother changed everything for me, and it was during this transformative time that Mama's Cupcakes was born.
Why Did I Start
Theodore was my inspiration. After a challenging postpartum recovery, baking became my sanctuary. It was one of the few things that brought me genuine happiness during a difficult time.
I'll never forget watching Theo's face light up as he danced and smiled along to the sound of the mixer while I made cupcakes. His joy became my joy, and that's how "Mama's Cupcakes" got its name - it was our special moment together.
Finding My Path
Honestly? I didn't know this was for me at first. Taking the leap into entrepreneurship was terrifying. I was young, inexperienced, and frankly, scared of failure.
But I knew I wasn't ready to return to traditional work, and I wanted to create something meaningful. After a few months of baking, something clicked. I fell deeply in love with the craft, the creativity, and the joy it brought to others. That's when I realized this wasn't just a hobby - it was my calling.
